Paddle takes the payment. We keep only the licence.

Reading this site leaves nothing behind on our side: the server keeps no access log. If you say yes to the question at the bottom of the screen, Google Analytics counts visits and the pages read, and Google sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_H7PH9PRYSD, which last up to two years. If you say no, neither is set. Either way, one small cookie of ours, bsq-consent, remembers your answer for six months. To change your mind, clear this site's cookies and the question will appear again.

Checkout is run by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment details, billing address and tax information, and is responsible for that data under its own privacy notice at paddle.com/legal/privacy. Your card details never reach us.

Paddle passes us what we need to provide your licence: your name, email address, country, the plugin and plan you bought, and the order's dates and amounts.

We use those details to provide your licence, the Pro downloads and updates, and support, and to send the emails that go with a licence, such as receipts and renewal reminders. There is no mailing list and nothing is used for advertising.

The lawful bases are Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR, performing our contract with you, and Article 6(1)(c), keeping the business records the law requires.

Order records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they belong to, because UK company and tax law requires it. Support emails are kept while we are helping you and for as long as our business records require afterwards.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it corrected or deleted, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and ask for a copy in a portable form. Records the law makes us keep cannot be deleted early, but we will tell you which those are. Write to the address below and you will get an answer within a month.

If you think we have got this wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, but you are not obliged to.
